Born on August 29th, 1986 in Friendswood, Texas, Lance Thomas spent several of his childhood years learning the piano. At age 3 his grandmother sat him down and gave him his first lesson. It was not long after, that Thomas found his new passion.

After graduating from J. Frank Dobie, Lance Thomas eventually accepted a scholarship to University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), one of the only schools in the nation to offer a full degree in music. UTSA allowed Thomas the expansion he so longed for, allowing him to travel the world to places such as Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic. It was while at UTSA that Thomas discovered his love for classical music, which would later lead him to the University of Houston’s Moore’s School of Music, where he is currently enrolled.

Since being at The University of Houston’s Moore’s School of Music, Thomas was selected to participate in the American Choral Directors Association in Miami, and the Texas Music Educators Association in San Antonio. Later Thomas was invited by Houston’s Jim McInvale, the owner of Gallery Furniture, to sing the National Anthem at his Westside Tennis Club for tennis greats Pete Sampras, Martina Navratilova, Anna Kournikova and Andre Agassi. Among that Thomas has performed live in front of thousands at various sporting events.

In his free time, Lance Thomas enjoys playing tennis and singing. He currently resides in Houston.
